Izzy Soul Balance
Transformation for body, mind and soul
You sense that there is more to life. That it is time to let go of old resistance and find your way back to your centre. I will guide you on this journey – through individual psychological coaching and the gentle power of pranic energy healing.

My name is Iris – but you're welcome to call me Izzy
There was a time when I was seen primarily through the eyes of others. In my twenties, I stood in front of the camera as a model, travelling the world from shoot to shoot, on the move a lot – but rarely truly at one with myself. Later, working in customer service and then as a manager, I learnt to understand other people, to coach them and help them develop. I was good at providing support. But for a long time, I hadn't found that support for myself.
Twenty years ago, following a deeply traumatic personal experience, I left my home country, the Netherlands, to start a new life in Germany. After several years of working in various jobs that didn't fulfil me, I finally plucked up the courage to become self-employed – as a wedding, portrait and concert photographer. I loved this work. I loved capturing people in their most authentic moments, whilst I myself could often still hide behind the camera.
Then came the COVID pandemic. And shortly afterwards, a shoulder injury that literally robbed me of the arm I'd used to take photographs with. From one day to the next, what I'd built up was no longer possible, for a number of reasons. I haven't sugar-coated this period – it was tough, it made me question myself, it forced me to slow down where I'd previously just carried on without a second thought.
But it was precisely in this stillness that I found something I had never sought before: myself. Through individual psychological work, I began to understand the patterns underlying my own life. Through pranic healing, I learnt to reconnect not only with my mind, but also with my energy and my body. What looked like an ending was the beginning of something that, for the first time, felt truly right.
Today, I support people at precisely this point – where something has broken or no longer fits, and something new is waiting to emerge. Not because I learnt it from a book, but because I have walked this path myself.
